Hello guys, Sara and I have been living in our campervan for 1 week now. It has been a wonderful week with lots and lots of incredible experiences already.
Italy is our first country. We started our journey last Sunday. Driving through the south of Carinthia through the Italian alps . It was a fantastic feeling! A road trip is always great, but having your home with you is another level of awesomeness.
The first few days were also kind of exploring your new home day by day. You get to know it better and you get better at organizing your stuff. And you’ll have far too much stuff with you! So we will see when the time has come to chuck the first few things out. ;)
We spent our first night on the road in a parking lot of a public swimming pool area on the way to Brixen/Bressanone. Ok, we have to admit, standing on a mountain by a lake with a view is more like what we expected but OK, its the first night…
On day 2 we crossed the border from Trentino to Lombardia.
We stopped on top of the mountains and handpicked our breakfast for the next day, blueberries.
We went on to see Bergamo, Milano, Torino and heaps of stunning little Italian villages. Right now we are living by a friends house on top of a mountain in Piemonte. Absolutely stunning and peaceful.
